This
latest archtop is finished with a natural vintage-burst spruce for the
top; maple for the back, sides, and neck; Bocote binding; and ebony for
the fretboard. The fretboard is graced with Thorell’s
“Z” block inlay. The Thorell Thunder Bowl pickup that’s installed is a
DeArmond-style single-coil with fully shielded, under-mount controls.
